TotalEnergies has announced a new partnership with the Tour de France, set to begin in 2026 and extend through 2028. The company will serve as the Official Partner in the Energy category for both the men’s and women’s events. This collaboration aims to engage with French cycling enthusiasts, leveraging TotalEnergies’ presence across France through its service stations and energy services.

Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “As TotalEnergies serves the French people every day, we are thrilled to be one of the official partners of France’s most popular sporting event.” He highlighted the opportunity to connect with millions of people throughout France during this event.

In addition to its Tour de France partnership, TotalEnergies will continue its involvement in professional cycling through Team TotalEnergies. Led by Jean-René Bernaudeau, the team will participate in the 2025 Tour de France. Pouyanné stated: “We are happy that Team TotalEnergies has been invited to take part in the 2025 Tour.”

Furthermore, TotalEnergies has finalized a jersey sponsorship deal with INEOS Grenadiers for this year’s race. The agreement is purely commercial, ensuring no influence over sporting decisions or strategies. This separation is monitored by internal rules and overseen by UCI regulations.

TotalEnergies emphasizes that these agreements focus solely on commercial aspects without impacting sports operations or race tactics.
