T-Systems, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG, has introduced T-Systems @Vantage, an artificial intelligence-based modular solution designed to help businesses transition from traditional IT systems to the cloud. The offering aims to provide a comprehensive service covering advisory, cloud migration, application modernization, and managed services.
The company states that artificial intelligence is integrated throughout each phase of the transformation process. In particular, the “Application Modernization” module uses AI to automate analyses of application architecture and source code. AI tools also handle automatic translation of programming languages, documentation of applications, and autonomous testing. This approach is intended to enable companies to update complex legacy systems that might otherwise be too costly or difficult to modernize.
According to T-Systems, customers using @Vantage can achieve cost savings of up to 30 percent and implement release changes up to 15 times faster than before. The company emphasizes that its solutions are manufacturer-independent and compliant with European regulations when delivered via its own cloud platforms.
Ferri Abolhassan, CEO of T-Systems and member of the Board of Management at Deutsche Telekom AG, said: “Many customers have started their transformation to the cloud, but the expected results have not materialized. For example, the requirements turned out to be more complex than anticipated, or the expected efficiency gains did not occur.” He added: “Cloud computing is only successful when applications are modernized, not simply lifted and shifted to the cloud. The foundation for business success is consistent process automation combined with artificial intelligence.”
Deutsche Telekom provides further information about its group activities on its website and shares insights into ongoing AI projects.
