SAP has announced new innovations and partnerships at its annual SAP Sapphire conference, aiming to enhance business productivity by up to 30%. The company is introducing Business AI tools designed to be accessible for all users.
A key feature is the Joule assistant, which can operate across various systems and business lines. “SAP combines the world’s most powerful suite of business applications with uniquely rich data and the latest AI innovations to create a flywheel of customer value,” stated SAP CEO Christian Klein. This tool aims to provide real-time insights and streamline workflows while adhering to ethical AI guidelines.
SAP’s collaboration with Perplexity enhances Joule’s capabilities, allowing it to handle both structured and unstructured data. This integration enables Joule to deliver visual answers based on real-time data within SAP workflows. Additionally, SAP has expanded its library of Joule Agents that autonomously manage processes across different business sectors.
The introduction of an operating system for AI development, called AI Foundation, offers developers a centralized platform for building custom AI solutions efficiently. A new prompt optimizer developed with Not Diamond further aids in creating effective AI prompts quickly.
In partnership with Palantir, SAP plans to assist customers in their cloud migration journeys by establishing a harmonized data foundation. This collaboration is expected to support organizations, including the U.S. government, in adapting swiftly to changes.
Furthermore, SAP introduced Business Suite packages aimed at simplifying cloud solution adoption tailored to specific business challenges. With these packages, businesses can customize applications using embedded tools like SAP Build.
SAP continues its commitment as a global leader in enterprise applications and business AI by supporting digital transformations worldwide.
