OLX Group has introduced two new artificial intelligence-powered products, CompassGPT and AutoIQ, at its CLAIM AI conference in Lisbon. The company says these tools will enhance both property searches and car sales on its platforms.

CompassGPT is a conversational assistant designed for real estate buyers. It allows users to describe their needs in their own words instead of using traditional search filters. The tool asks questions about budget, location, and preferences before presenting a shortlist of properties with summaries, pros and cons, and suggested trade-offs if options are limited. It also offers next steps such as connecting buyers with sellers or agents. The product is first available through OLX’s Imovirtual portal in Portugal.

“Property search has always been about filters and endless scrolling,” said Tim Davis, Chief Product, Marketing, Data & Technology Officer at OLX. “CompassGPT flips that model to make it intuitive and personal, tailoring property search to the individual buyer’s wants and needs.”

AutoIQ is aimed at car dealers using OLX’s Otomoto platform in Poland. It acts as an automated analyst for dealerships by enabling faster listing creation, centralized lead management, pricing recommendations, inventory summaries, and AI-generated descriptions that keep each dealer’s unique style. According to early data from OLX, dealers are publishing listings up to 36% faster with AutoIQ and have seen a 12% increase in responsiveness.

“Managing inventory, fielding calls, and tracking leads used to mean dealers were constantly multitasking,” Davis added. “AutoIQ removes the friction from daily operations, so dealers can focus on what matters most, connecting with customers and doing what they do best: closing deals.”

The announcement was made during CLAIM AI on February 25-26 in Lisbon. The event gathered industry professionals to discuss practical applications of AI technology within digital marketplaces.

Christian Gisy, CEO of OLX, stated: “At OLX, we are not waiting for the future of AI – we are creating it. Our AI-first infrastructure, built since 2018 and combined with our proprietary data loop, allows us to deliver industry-defining agentic AI solutions that generic models simply cannot match,” said Christian Gisy. “CompassGPT and AutoIQ demonstrate how we’re turning vision into measurable value for real estate agents, dealers and buyers – and this is just the beginning of our journey to lead the vertical transaction marketplace of tomorrow.”

OLX reports that it has invested over $200 million in artificial intelligence capabilities over eight years—including $30 million this fiscal year—and now operates more than 75 different AI use cases across its platforms.

OLX Group operates digital marketplaces serving millions across Europe and South Africa under brands such as AutoTrader, Otomoto, Property24 among others. It is part of Prosus N.V., a global technology company focused on lifestyle ecommerce brands.
