The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania has announced the selection process for three civil servant members to join the Supervisory Board of AB “Ignitis grupė”. The positions are open in the areas of public policy and governance, regulatory, accounting, and audit competences. Applications will be accepted until August 21, 2025.

The current term of the Supervisory Board is set to end on October 25, 2025. The Ministry expects to complete the selection before that date. Those chosen will serve a four-year term after being appointed by a resolution at the General Meeting of Shareholders.

Civil servants are being selected based on the Guidelines on Procedures for the Selection of Persons to a Company’s Supervisory or Management Body. The process will be managed by a commission formed by the Minister of Finance, which will include at least three members.

Information about candidate requirements and the Group’s Supervisory Board Competency Profile is available online. Candidates will be evaluated according to both general and specific criteria outlined in these documents.

The Supervisory Board is responsible for overseeing Ignitis Group’s activities, approving its strategy, and monitoring its implementation. According to updated guidelines approved by order of the Minister of Finance, the board will have nine members: six independent members and three civil servants selected by the Ministry. Recent changes require that three advisory committees—Audit and Risk Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Sustainability Committee—be formed from among board members. To support business continuity, at least one-third of current board members are expected to remain for another term.

Further updates about this selection process will be provided as required by law.
