Intesa Sanpaolo has been recognized as the Best European Financial Institution for Investor and Analyst Relations by IR Impact, a notable publication formerly known as IR Magazine. This accolade is based on assessments from numerous financial analysts, investors, and portfolio managers.

The award was presented in London during the IR Impact Awards 2025. These awards have been celebrating excellence in investor relations for over three decades.

This achievement adds to recent accolades from EXTEL awarded to both Carlo Messina and Intesa Sanpaolo, reinforcing the bank’s leadership in market communications and transparency.

The Investor Relations team at Intesa Sanpaolo is led by Marco Delfrate and Andrea Tamagnini. It operates under the Chief Financial Officer Area managed by CFO Luca Bocca.

Carlo Messina, CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo, stated: “We are very proud of this recognition, which once again places Intesa Sanpaolo at the top of a respected international ranking. It reflects our continued commitment to the quality with which we communicate our results and strategy to the market. I would like to express my appreciation to Marco Delfrate and Andrea Tamagnini — two invaluable assets to our Bank — and extend my warmest congratulations for the outstanding results achieved over the years at leading Intesa Sanpaolo’s Investor Relations team.”

Intesa Sanpaolo stands as Italy’s largest banking group with €417 billion in loans and €1.4 trillion in customer financial assets as of March 2025. The bank plays a significant role internationally and is a leader in wealth management with an emphasis on digital innovation and fintech solutions. By 2025, it aims to provide €115 billion in Impact lending to support community initiatives and environmental transitions, along with a €1.5 billion program running from 2023-2027 aimed at aiding those in need.
