Seven Ferrari 296 GT3s are set to compete in the upcoming 6 Hours of Glen, which is part of both the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. Among the drivers are six Ferrari factory racers who recently participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans: Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, Antonio Fuoco, Davide Rigon, Daniel Serra, and Lilou Wadoux.
In the GTD Pro class, DragonSpeed will field the No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3 with Albert Costa and Davide Rigon driving. Costa achieved a second-place finish earlier this season at Raceway Laguna Seca and secured class poles at Sebring International Raceway and Laguna Seca.
The GTD category will see five teams with Pro-Am lineups competing, including two entries from Triarsi Competizione. Onofrio Triarsi will team up with James Calado and Andrew Waite in one car while Sheena Monk, Stevan McAleer, and Mike Skeen drive another.
Manny Franco and Daniel Serra join Ben Tuck in the No. 34 Corsa Horizon 296 GT3. Both Serra and Tuck finished within the top-10 at Le Mans in their respective classes.
The No. 70 Inception Racing entry features Brendan Iribe, Frederik Schandorff, and Ollie Millroy as drivers. AF Corse will run another Ferrari for Lilou Wadoux, Alessandro Pier Guidi, and Simon Mann.
Cetilar Racing’s blue No. 47 Ferrari will be driven by Lorenzo Patrese, Giorgio Sernagiotto, and Antonio Fuoco.
Historically speaking, Ferrari has seen success at Six Hours of The Glen with four overall victories since its inception in 1968.
The event begins on Friday with practice sessions leading into Saturday’s qualifying rounds for both categories. The race itself starts Sunday at noon Eastern Time (ET), broadcast live on NBC Network with streaming options available through Peacock and IMSA’s YouTube channel for international audiences.
