Applications are now open for the third and final module of EDP’s Energy Starter program, which focuses on client-oriented solutions in the energy sector. Startups from around the world can apply until February 15 to participate in this initiative aimed at supporting consumers in their efforts toward decarbonization and facilitating the implementation and operation of decentralized energy generation.
Selected startups will present their ideas through an online pitch process. Those chosen will be invited to a bootcamp scheduled for May 27 and 28, where they will work to accelerate pilot projects and explore business opportunities with EDP. The company will fully fund these projects, providing access to operational assets and ongoing support to ensure that solutions meet industry needs. The objective is to help these innovations reach commercial viability and foster long-term partnerships that advance the energy transition.
EDP operates commercially across four continents, serving more than three million residential and business customers. The company holds a leading position in electricity supply in Portugal, is prominent in decentralized solar solutions for businesses in Europe, and ranks among the top global companies for long-term renewable energy contracts.
“Startups interested in the third module of Energy Starter can apply through the program’s website.”
