Digital X will host its Focus Edition AI event on September 10 at the Confex Center in Cologne, emphasizing artificial intelligence as a central driver of digital transformation. The event is designed to be more focused and exclusive, with decision-makers from digital business and AI gathering to discuss developments and applications.
Klaus Werner, Managing Director of Business Customers at Telekom Deutschland and host of Digital X, said: “Artificial intelligence is more than just a technology trend. It is becoming an accelerator in all areas of the economy. Digital X offers guidance and shows how companies can use AI to create value for themselves.”
Werner also highlighted the importance of related technologies, stating: “Cloud and security solutions are inseparable from AI as a technical basis or foundation. That’s why we’re also giving these topics space in the Focus Edition. As an additional topic, we’re focusing on the public sector, including mission-critical communications.”
The event will take place across 10,000 square meters of exhibition space at the Confex Center. More than 4,000 guests are expected to attend, with over 100 partners and start-ups participating. Attendees will have access to digital solutions, masterclasses, expert knowledge sessions, and presentations by more than 30 speakers across three stages.
Notable speakers include Scott Galloway (economist and entrepreneur), Prof. Dr. Maja Göpel (political economist and sustainability scientist), Tim Höttges (CEO of Deutsche Telekom), Kenza Ait Si Abbou (AI consultant), Oliver Kahn (entrepreneur), Keren Elazari (cybersecurity expert), Julian Yogeshwar (digital transformation expert for SMEs), and Alena Buyx (professor at Technical University of Munich).
The Innovation Playground section will feature demonstrations such as Solos AI Smart Glasses that guide users through cooking by recognizing ingredients; Cognigy Agentic AI showcasing real-time empathetic business communication; Even Realities Glasses translating conversations live into visual text; Warmland using AR technology to show climate change effects; and a Digital Art Room where Beethoven’s 10th Symphony is performed live with AI-generated music and visuals.
A closing event called Kölsche Nacht will include performances by Cologne bands Klüngelköpp and Druckluft as well as Jan Delay & the Delaydies feat. DJ Mad.
Deutsche Telekom remains involved as organizer and key participant in what it describes as Europe’s leading digitization initiative.
