From October 1, 2025, the transmission tariff for natural gas provided by Conexus Baltic Grid will increase. The new rate will rise from 0.0026400 EUR per kilowatt-hour (kWh) to 0.0032051 EUR/kWh, an increase of 0.0005651 EUR/kWh.
This change will be reflected in natural gas consumption bills during the next billing period, with customers seeing the updated rates in their November 2025 bills. The transmission service is a state-regulated cost component included in the total payment for natural gas.
For households using an average of 2500 kWh per month during the heating season, this adjustment means their monthly transmission payment will rise by about 1.41 EUR (excluding VAT). Small users who consume approximately 100 kWh per month for cooking purposes will see an increase of around 0.06 EUR (excluding VAT) per month.
Conexus Baltic Grid’s transmission services make up only part of the overall natural gas bill. Households’ total payments consist of five elements: the price of natural gas, which depends on global market conditions; the transmission service fee; the distribution operator’s service fee; excise duty; and value added tax (VAT), both regulated by the state.
