A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Rome between the Carabinieri Corps and Intesa Sanpaolo. The agreement aims to prevent and combat financial fraud, particularly targeting vulnerable groups such as the elderly. The collaboration is represented by Commander General Gen. C.A. Salvatore Luongo from the Carabinieri Corps and General Antonio De Vita, Chief Security Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo.

The initiative focuses on enhancing security for branch employees and organizing training activities like conferences, seminars, workshops, and promotional events to raise awareness about financial fraud.

This agreement aligns with broader actions by the Carabinieri Corps to promote legality and safety through educational initiatives. It also aims to develop preventive strategies against crimes affecting vulnerable victims.

Intesa Sanpaolo’s commitment includes implementing innovative technological solutions for customer security across Italy. This partnership is part of a framework established by previous memorandums involving the Italian Banking Association and Ministry of the Interior.
