Allianz SE has finalized the sale of its stake in UniCredit Allianz Vita to UniCredit. This move is part of Allianz’s strategic focus on its core insurance and asset management operations.

The Allianz Group, recognized as a leading global insurer and asset manager, serves approximately 128 million private and corporate customers across nearly 70 countries. The company offers a diverse range of services, including property, life, health insurance, assistance services, credit insurance, and global business insurance.

Allianz is also noted for being one of the largest investors worldwide. It manages around 768 billion euros on behalf of its insurance clients. Additionally, through its asset managers PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors, it oversees about 1.9 trillion euros in third-party assets.

The company integrates ecological and social criteria into its business processes and investment decisions. This approach has positioned Allianz among the leaders in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index within the insurance industry.

In 2024, Allianz employed over 156,000 individuals who contributed to a total business volume of 179.8 billion euros and an operating profit of 16.0 billion euros for the group.
