Allianz reports strong financial results and sustainability leadership in 2024

The Allianz Group, a major global insurer and asset manager, operates in nearly 70 countries and serves both private and corporate clients. The company provides a variety of insurance services, including property, life, health, assistance services, credit insurance, and global business coverage.

Allianz manages approximately 749 billion euros on behalf of its insurance customers as of June 30, 2025. In addition to these assets, its asset management subsidiaries PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors oversee about 1.8 trillion euros in third-party assets.

The group has integrated ecological and social criteria into its business processes and investment decisions. This approach has contributed to Allianz’s leadership position within the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the insurance sector.

In 2024, Allianz employed over 156,000 people worldwide. That year, the group reported a total business volume of 179.8 billion euros and an operating profit of 16 billion euros.

OMV has announced a EUR 65 million investment for a new innovation hub at its Schwechat site. The facility aims to accelerate technological development from laboratory research to industrial scale. Construction is set for completion in the first half of 2027.
