Allianz Group has announced the winners of its ‘Unity Awards’, which celebrate the power of unity through sport. The awards aim to highlight how sports can bring people together and foster collaboration.

“Allianz is proud to recognize individuals and organizations who demonstrate the unifying spirit of sport,” said a spokesperson from Allianz Group. “The Unity Awards are about celebrating those who make a difference in their communities by bringing people together.”

Allianz operates as one of the largest insurers and asset managers globally, providing services in nearly 70 countries. The company manages approximately 749 billion euros for its insurance customers and oversees about 1.8 trillion euros in third-party assets through PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors. In 2024, Allianz reported a total business volume of 179.8 billion euros with an operating profit of 16.0 billion euros, supported by over 156,000 employees.

The company’s approach includes integrating ecological and social criteria into its operations and investment decisions, positioning it among industry leaders in sustainability indices such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
