Airbus and Thai Airways International (THAI) have expanded their partnership with a new agreement that extends Airbus’ Flight Hour Services (FHS) component support to cover THAI’s growing A321neo fleet. The A321neo aircraft began joining the airline’s operations in 2025.

The extended agreement will provide THAI with a range of component services for its A321neo fleet, including on-site stock, access to a parts pool, and component repair services at Bangkok, the airline’s main base. The arrangement also includes support from Airbus’ engineering experts and regional FHS representatives who will assist with daily maintenance activities. This is intended to improve fleet availability and help THAI better manage costs.

THAI first entered into an FHS agreement with Airbus in 2012, covering 20 A320ceo aircraft. The latest extension adds 32 A321neo aircraft to the program, showing the airline’s ongoing trust in Airbus’ maintenance solutions.

“Extending our FHS agreement with THAI to support their A321neo fleet demonstrates the strength of our long-standing relationship and our commitment to supporting the airline’s fleet modernisation strategy,” said Anand Stanley, President Airbus Asia-Pacific. “Through comprehensive component support and local engineering presence, we are helping THAI optimise operations as it introduces the next generation of single-aisle aircraft.”

Airbus’ FHS offers airlines tailored maintenance solutions aimed at maximizing fleet performance while controlling operating expenses. By leveraging global expertise and advanced digital tools, FHS helps airlines improve operational efficiency and reliability.
