Since joining the company in 2002, he has been responsible for commissioning and renewing Siemens remote control systems and a Distributed Control System (DCS) for a turbogas power plant. Over two decades, Mania has overseen various projects including the construction and revamping of substations, power lines, traffic light systems, and a combined cycle gas turbine power plant. He currently leads operations and maintenance for AcegasApsAmga’s electricity distribution system and is actively involved in technical committees related to regulations.
Maurizio Bigolon serves as the Head of Solutions for Siemens Grid Software Italy. With 25 years of experience in Information Technology engineering, Bigolon specializes in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and OT (Operational Technology) systems. His work focuses on developing solutions for distribution grid management. Throughout his career, he has contributed to smart grid technologies by advancing automation and control systems within power grids. In his current role, Bigolon emphasizes innovation in digital solutions addressing modern grid challenges such as integration, automation, and efficient network management.
