AB InBev recently acknowledged the contributions of local farmers and communities involved in its beer production. The company emphasized the importance of simple, high-quality ingredients such as grains, hops, yeast, and water in brewing.

The company celebrated over 20,000 direct farmers within its supply chain through global events across countries like India, China, Mexico, Colombia, and the U.S. These events highlighted efforts to provide tools and technology aimed at improving agricultural practices.
In Haryana, India, more than 350 barley farmers were recognized for their dedication. The SmartBarley program in India has helped over 2,000 farmers adopt sustainable agriculture practices.
Budweiser China’s Growers Day at Yuntai Farm showcased a partnership with JSNK Group to promote regenerative agriculture practices among local malting barley producers.
Grupo Modelo in Mexico hosted an event at Rancho Cermo highlighting advancements in agricultural research and innovation. Alejandro Torres from Guadalupe Victoria praised Grupo Modelo: “Grupo Modelo is a company that’s given us so much support. We’re proud to collaborate and be part of it.”
Anheuser-Busch held its US Rice Growers Day in Arkansas to honor rice farmers contributing to brands like Budweiser and Michelob ULTRA.
In Colombia’s Bavaria Agricultural Research Center event focused on Siembra Bavaria initiative which provides technical advice and support to local farmers.
AB InBev continues investing in innovation through nearly 100 R&D sites globally. This commitment aims at enhancing farmer livelihoods while maintaining brand quality for future generations.
